A proud club with a rich history since 1889
Ascot Vale Cricket Club has been a cherished part of our local community for generations; nurturing talent, fostering friendships, and creating a family-like atmosphere through countless events and shared victories. Our roots trace back to the late 1880s, proudly symbolized by a historic trophy from the 1889–90 season.
Revitalized in 1964, AVCC has flourished in its modern form, driven by passion, perseverance, and a love for the game. Over the decades, we’ve celebrated many triumphs, including the prestigious NWMCA Noel Seipolt Shield and the Ern Girolami Shield, testaments to the dedication of our players, coaches, and support crew.
Today, AVCC continues to grow as a vibrant, inclusive club. We proudly field senior mixed teams, an All-Abilities team, and an Under 12s Junior team; ensuring cricket is accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or ability.
